Position Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing caregiver staffing, performance, and client satisfaction. This role ensures consistent service delivery by managing scheduling, caregiver engagement, and communication with families and internal teams while supporting overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily staffing and maintain high fill rates across all service types
Handle real-time scheduling changes, including callouts and reassignments
Oversee the on-call process to ensure consistent coverage
Lead, coach, and support caregivers to ensure professionalism and performance
Manage caregiver availability, schedules, and nanny placements
Communicate proactively with families regarding staffing updates and service changes
Address client concerns quickly and professionally
Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing caregiver development
Maintain accurate records, schedules, and system data
Drive key metrics including fill rate, retention, and utilization
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and childcare requirements
Qualifications
3+ years in staffing, operations, or team management
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Experience in high-volume scheduling preferred
Childcare or service industry experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 annually (based on experience)
